This year, Ian Andrés Correa—the sponsored child of the *Fundación Amigos del Niño con Leucemia y Cáncer* (Fanlyc)—visited the Serviestiba facilities at the Port of Balboa and spent time with the company's administrative staff.
During his visit, Ian Andrés met with Serviestiba personnel from both the Balboa and Cristóbal ports. He received numerous gifts from the administrative and operational staff, who hosted a delightful gathering featuring cake to celebrate his birthday.
Ian Andrés was also taken to an amusement park, accompanied by operations staff throughout this special outing. As a leader in logistics, Serviestiba is committed to noble causes; in this instance, acting as Ian Andrés’s sponsor through Fanlyc, we sought to provide a moment of connection and care for this little boy—who is part of the Serviestiba family—as we once again participate in the 2025 charity run/walk.
Our volunteer team is stepping up as they do every year; various activities have been organized across the Balboa and Cristóbal ports to support our sponsored child, Ian Andrés, whose joy enriches us and inspires us to continue supporting this noble cause.
As members of the community surrounding the ports of Balboa and Cristóbal, Serviestiba works daily to strengthen the future generations that represent the upcoming legacy of our Isthmian land. We are confident that the seeds we plant in children like Ian Andrés will bear much fruit, ensuring that Panama continues to grow in its support of noble causes.
