Committed to maintaining excellence in port operations, a total of 14 workers have successfully completed their training as stevedores, thereby strengthening the workforce that meets the demands of the Port of Balboa.

The training program combined theory with hands-on practice at the dock, enabling participants to acquire the skills needed to perform effectively at every stage of maritime operations. From the start to the completion of vessel operations, stevedores play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and continuity of the logistics chain.

These professionals are responsible for proper cargo handling, carrying out container lashing and unlashing maneuvers, and assisting with vessel berthing and unberthing tasks. Their technical training and physical strength make them key components of the national port system.

The training of this new group reaffirms the company's commitment to investing in Panamanian talent and to continuously raising quality standards in the operations that position Panama as a world-class logistics hub.
