Serviestiba reinforces its commitment to planting saplings

Recognizing that business success extends beyond the numbers, Serviestiba reaffirmed its commitment to the community and the environment through its "Huella Verde" (Green Footprint) program by planting 655 Guayacan and cedar saplings on the grounds of the *Ciudad de la Salud* (City of Health) complex. On this occasion, the volunteer team from the ports of Balboa and Cristóbal—alongside strategic partners and community members—joined forces to plant life and hope. The goal is for this space to become a reforested area within a few years, contributing to biodiversity and the well-being of all. Ian Andrés, the child supported by Serviestiba through the Fanlyc foundation, was also present at the event and helped plant the saplings. It is important to note that reforestation helps capture CO2, thereby protecting the soil and attracting biodiversity. The event saw the participation of employee volunteers as well as strategic partners—including Terpel, the Administrative Unit for Reverted Assets (UABR), Automarket Rent a Car, the Moviendo Vidas Foundation, RC Tax Group, the Lions Club, and staff from the Municipality of Panama—demonstrating that when business and society work hand in hand, the results have a lasting impact. This initiative is part of Serviestiba’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, which focuses on three main pillars—education, health, and the environment—thereby contributing sustainably to Panama's development. Through actions like this, Serviestiba reaffirms that true growth is that which is shared and transforms lives.
